Well, people like to make others laugh sometimes just because it's part of their personality, and they're fun to be around. They enjoy telling jokes and seeing that other people laugh at their jokes, which gives them a sense of satisfaction and connection. Some people use humor as a way to express their feelings and show the people they love, their friends, and their family that they care about them. Sometimes, it can serve as a defensive mechanism. Some people use humor to avoid more serious problems in their lives. I think these could be the reasons why people like to make others laugh.
