Well, the most fascinating traditional story from my culture is the tragic love tale of Heer Ranja. Now, this story has been passed down through generation and considered as a symbol of eternal love and sacrifice. Basically, the story revolves around a beautiful girl named Heer and a handsome young man Ranja who worked as a shifter when they first met, the incentive fell in love and the ending of the story quite tragic. Like most folk tales, their journey was never smooth. Here family strongly opposed their relationship because of social differences and and this became the central conflict of the story which make it emotional and hard-touching. The story, particularly the story went in a way, Raja never give up on here even his family tried to marry her off someone else he remained loyal and devoted and then Ranja and here moreover he is unfortunately he is poisoned by someone and when Ranja discovered this he also died besides her and mostly in addition most people say I am that and they were united after that which makes the story unforgettable and heart-touching. I find this story interesting not because of emotional depth but also loyal loyalty, caring and cultural touch. In our traditions they kill the lovers because of ego and attitudes.
