The bar chart illustrates the proportion of companies different sizes that used social media for business purposes between 2012 to 2016. Social media use increased in all companies over a five-year period. Medium and large companies had higher rates than small business throughout the period. it’s noticeable that all three categories showed upward trends.
Small firms started at around 25 in 2012 and rose steadily to 50 in 2016. There was a gradual increase in the use of social media among small companies. Medium-sized business consistently had higher percentages than small ones. In 2013-2014 after sharp increase it’s reduce in 2015. Large companies showed the most significant growth between 2012 and 2014, sharply declined in 2015, but rose gradually in 2016.
Overall, medium and large companies remained ahead of small firms throughout the five years. By the end of the period, all three categories had shown noticeable growth in their use of social media.
