Well, to be honest, I mostly prefer to send voice messages or just call to speak. I call the current person and just talk about the specific problem. But when it comes to text messages, I actually work in a logistics company where it's required to text the drivers, and this is a really valuable skill. If you can learn how to text quickly, that's a benefit you can gain, and it will be a bonus for you. So yes, I actually prefer voice messages over text.
