The maps demonstrate the modifications made to a seaside village between 1979 and the present day.
Overall, the village has undergone major changes, with the addition of new features like golf, football, and apartments, as well as restaurants in place of old elements such as farmland, forest area, fish markets, and shops. These changes transformed the city into a more modern and visitor-friendly venue, offering a wide range of facilities for visitors.
In 1979, the city used to be relatively small. The fishing port and magazines were at the bottom, with a cafe on the south side, along with the hotel and shops on the opposite side of the road. Furthermore, farmland and forest area occupied most of the upper right-hand side of the city. Lastly, a number of houses were located on the left-hand side along the road.
Since then, the city has changed significantly. One of the most noticeable transformations was the introduction of golf and football sport facilities in place of old elements like farmland and forest area. Fish markets and shops, which were located on the bottom of the city, were demolished in order to make room for apartments and restaurants. Additionally, a new car park was added to the hotel, which offers better opportunities for visitors. While the fishing port on the sea has been removed, the cafe has remained unchanged in its initial position. Another noticeable change was the increase in the number of houses which were positioned on the upper northwestern side of the city.
