Technology has consistently been on the high side and with that, here has been words on whether there is a a physical work settings is useful or not. furthermore, many are of the opinion that a work in office will become oudated, while others are argued on the benefits that comes with the team of collaborating and preserving company values. I, however believe that the advantages of having a work in office supercedes that of its demerits. this essay will discuss my views on this issue.
To begin with, offices have been in existence right before technological advancement that paved way for online job opportunities. A work in office creates room for team bonding, better productivity and daily task achievement of work activities as the environment allows it. Human resoures statistics have showed 80% of office staffs are more likely to finish a particular allocated task than a staff working remotely who spends an average of 45% to finish that task. this proves that remote workers are certainly likely to be distracted and deliver lesser on task as at when due.
In addition to this, physical office promotes team bonding as workers can relate with colleagues, to get ideas that could help improve the quality of work, access to physical meetings which is quite effective than virtual, and access to easily rectify problems when required. for example in a real estate company occupied with office staffs, workers are able to work up to their boss office to rectify a particular issue. this can not be achieved in a remote work setting.
Although, remote offices also have their own benefits as they offer privacy and access to work at preferred pace. to add to this, working remotely also provides access to freedom because it’s quite flexible, and cheaper as there is no cost of transportation to the work place.
In summary, while remote work provide easy access to privacy and work flexibility . i personally think that physical office is more beneficial for the future work as a result of productivity and team bonding
