It is often argued that cities should build more esthetically whereas, others believe that the focus should more on how it functions.While both approaches beneficial to build a developed city,I believe that only building infrastructure and functionality is not sufficient to desired development of city because beautification of city such as planting trees all around town is today’s need.
One perspective is that,cities should have good infrastructure such as roads,bridges,and transport. Public facilities and architecture are important for an easy life.Good infrastructure is the backbone of efficiency, directly reducing costs and saving time for individuals, business and governments. In metro cities, the majority of people travel by metro to save time and fuel,which helps them to grow as individuals and also beneficial for businesses because their employees can reach on time and work efficiently.
There is however a strong argument that beautification is also equally important to bring the charm of a city.Several individuals are suffering from health issues due to pollution. In the city, several trees being cut in the name of development which not only cause health issues but also minimize integrating nature and aesthetic of city. It is important to save trees all around the city for clean air and to save natural reservoirs such lakes and rivers. To explain, Dubai has the most advanced infrastructure of the world but due to lack of trees, it is also polluted. I therefore consider, foundation and framework of city should be at certain limit but main focus should be on beautification for long term benefits for residents of the city, because it helps to improve health.
