Overall, US films has reached the highest amount in screening in both Australia and UK, in contrast to Australian films scoring the lowest. In chart B, a significant difference shown between Australia and UK, whereas the cinema admission of UK in 1975 to 2005 is higher then Australia.
Initially in 2001, around 75% of films shown in UK and around 65% in Australia, were Americans films. UK represent the quarter of screened films in UK, compared to Australia with only 5%, leaving up to 20% between both countries in other countries.
Cinema admissions rose steadily facing an upward trend. UK reached around 100 million in 1975 then marking its peek around 170 million in 2000, finalizing with a steady pace for 150 million in 2005. On the other hand Australians grew significantly from 30 millions in the early 1970’s up to 80 millions in 2005.
Overall, although US dominated the markets, both countries has grew up steadily highlighting elevated trends.
