Our world is a kind place, in my personal opinion. Though we think otherwise, I have experienced many acts of kindness from different people in my life. One event I can mention is when I was in my third year of medical college. One day, a poor woman was admitted to our ward, and she was suffering from severe anemia. She needed at least one bag of blood, but her blood group was A negative, which is a rare blood type and not easily found. At that time, the lady was very poor and alone; none of her relatives were present in the hospital. We could not arrange blood from our hospital blood bank, and the lady was so severely ill that she was unable to go outside to find some blood for herself. Then one of my teachers, Professor Azad, decided to donate his own blood to that lady because his blood group was also A negative. It was a rare case because usually professors like him do not care about these small things. But that time, I saw my professor donating his blood for the sake of humanity, and it was an excellent act of kindness, I must say.
