The two pie charts illustrate the percentage of forest and timber in five different continents (South America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Nort America) respectively.

Overall, as it can be seen, Africa and North America have the highest percentage of forest cover. However North America produces a significant amount of timber unlike Africa which has recorded the lowest percentage in timber production.

In Africa, the percentage of forest cover is at 27%, which is 2% higher compared to North America which accounts for 25%. Similarly, forest cover in Europe is also 2 % more than that of South America, each having 18% and 16% respectively. Asia has the lowest forest cover at 14 %.

On the other hand, timber production in North America is at 30%, which is the highest across the five continents. It is closely followed by South America and Europe at slightly over a quarter and a quarter respectively. Timber production in Asia is represented by 18% and finally in Africa is at 9% which accounts for the lowest timber production in a continent.
