Overall, the number of people who did not have a car increased every year, while the number of people owning two or more cars decreased by the end of the year. Compared to these two sides, the amount of people owning 1 car only increased a little and stayed constant.

In 1960 there were no people without a car, the percentage of it consisted about 1%. Whereas, at the same time, there was a large proportion of people who owned more than 2 cars. In 1970 a slight increase started to be shown and there were less people owning one car, it was almost 8%. Furthermore, the number of people who had 2 or more cars began to decrease, and it consisted less than a half. By the year of 2000, the amount of people who didn’t have a car grew almost to 30% and it became equal to the number of people who had 2 or more cars, it also reached about 30%.

The owners of 1 car only was nearly a third in the beginning of 1960 and it showed a steady increase by 1970, it was almost 45%. Notwithstanding the fact, that there were a slight grow, it remained stable by the year of 2000 with almost 45%.
