I believe social media highly influences our perception of reality. It controls almost everything. Virtually everything that we do or include or solves in is controlled by social media. For example, some people nowadays would rather try something that they’re not even interested in and pay high amounts of money simply because it’s popular on social media. Individuals are willing to pay high amounts of money to purchase something purely because of the fact that it’s popularized nowadays. And from trends to points of views to stances to even politics, social media is integrated in everything. And it runs the world, that is my personal opinion, it runs the world. Because once you control someone’s narrative, you control their mind and their perception of reality.
