Honestly, my school is generally quite reasonable, so there aren’t many rules that I would call unfair. However, if I had to choose one, it would be the rule that completely prohibits students from using mobile phones during school hours. I believe this rule was implemented to prevent students from becoming distracted from maturing lessons and to encourage them to focus on their studies in addition to the school administration probably wanted to reduce cheating and limit unnecessary use of social media. Also, I understand the intention behind the rule. I think it can sometimes be inconvenient. For example, students may need to contact their parents in an emergency or use education elect and online resources for learning purposes because phones are banned entirely. Students miss out on some useful opportunity to learn more effectively. These rules affect many students, especially those who rely on digital tools for studying. It can also be frustrating when students need to communicate with family members during that day. If I could change this rule, I would allow mobile phones to be used during breaks or for academic purposes and to teach as per vision. In my opinion, this would create a better balance between discipline and responsible use of technology. Overall, while the rule was introduced with good intention, I think a more flexible approach should be more practical and beneficial for students.
