If I had the chance to design my own perfect online learning platform, I would focus mainly on keeping learners motivated and concentrated. First of all, I would include an interactive design that shows progress in a very visual way. Secondly, I would upload short, video-like chunks related to the lessons on my dashboard to help learners engage with my platform. In addition, I would create a distraction-free mode. For example, once students enter my lessons, notifications and irrelevant tips would be blocked temporarily so they can fully concentrate. Finally, I would create a WhatsApp group where all of my learners can engage with each other. If I create this group, learners will not feel lonely, and they can engage with their education without thinking too much about their personal lives. To sum up, my ideal platform would combine progress tracking and short lessons as essential tools.
