When I was a child, I always posed my body shape in front of the mirror, waiting for the funny faces and pretending to be a hero. Looking back is what I'm intending to do when I didn't possess a clear vision.
No, I didn't like looking in the mirror when I was a child. Maybe because of our culture and customs in Iran, children should not look in the mirror. I have no idea about the main reason, but I think it is a cultural issue.
