In 2007, The Portuguese produced the most number of movies at roughly 86, a figure which remained unchanged in the following year. Despite having a slight decline in 2009, reducing its output to 80, Portugal was still the leading figures compared to other countries. Likewise, though commencing the period at 50 movies, China witnessed a sharp increase to 70, thus dominating the chart alongside Portugal.
In contrast, the remaining nations produced a relatively lower number of films. Both Bangladesh and Iran, although experiencing a comparable upward trajectory, remained below 20 movies at approximately 16 and 11 respectively by the end of the period. Similarly, Pakistan ended the timeframe at roughly 12 films despite witnessing a downward trend.
