Overall, smartphones accounted for the highest expenditure in all three countries, whereas CDs received the least spending. In general, Germany recorded the highest expenditure on most products, while Italy spent the most on laptops.
Regarding smartphones, Germany spent the most, at nearly £138,000, followed closely by Italy at around £136,000, while Spain recorded the lowest figure, at approximately £120,000. Germany also led spending on books and toys, with expenditure of £110,000 on each item. In addition, Germans spent £100,000 on perfumes, compared with £80,000 in Italy and £82,000 in Spain.
By contrast, CDs attracted the lowest expenditure in all three countries. Spain spent the most on CDs, at around £40,000, whereas Germany recorded the lowest figure, at approximately £20,000. Italy ranked first in laptop expenditure, at around £130,000, while Germany and Spain spent slightly less. Overall, spending on books and perfumes was lower in Italy than in Germany, although Spain recorded slightly higher figures than Italy for both products.
