One of the most important decisions I have ever made was choosing to become an English teacher and dedicate a significant part of my career to language education. I made this decision several years ago when I was considering different professional paths. At the time I was uncertain about which direction to take and I spent a considerable amount of time evaluating my strengths, interests and long term goals. I wanted a career that would not only provide professional opportunities but also allow me to make a positive contribution to other people’s lives. Before making the final decision, I tired to carefully read the opinions. I spoke with experienced educators, researched the various career opportunities and reflected on my personal interests. Having considered all the possibilities, I realized that teaching was the field that genuinely inspired me. Choosing this career required me to step outside my comfort zone. Teaching involves public speaking, communicating, leadership, and continuous learning. Initially, I was nervous about standing in front of a student and taking responsibility for their learning outcomes. However, I understood that personal development often requires people to face challenges. M.A.V.A. in my face, it was a conclusive calculator, the risk, because success was not guaranteed. Nevertheless, I believe that it would help me pursue my ambition.
