I'm not sure why it holds so much appeal, but I can hazard a guess. First of all, attending parties is a chance to visit our extended family and close friends, maintaining our friendships and relationships. On top of that, people enjoy the ambience of peace and love at parties, sharing joy and happiness, and making memorable moments by holding family gatherings. Another reason would be the fact that participating in celebrations and celebrating by drinking and dancing can contribute to releasing stress and anxiety, uplifting people's spirits.
