When I do manage to wake up this early, I like to do a little bit of meditation and then directly dive into something productive, like upskilling myself by learning new tools and technologies. I work as a software developer and therefore this is very important to ensure that I stay relevant in my field. I got into this habit in 2020 when COVID struck and everybody was closed in and quarantined at home. And it is a habit that I do follow on occasion, especially when it has important events or exams coming up. On days that I don’t have anything and end up waking early, I like to meditate or go for a walk or just cozy up in a corner with a cup of hot coffee or hot tea. I don’t usually spend this time with anyone, but I rather take the time for myself to gain some quality time with myself. As an introvert, this is very essential for me to reground myself and prepare for the day. I also use this, I also find that the time to be the most productive. I am a fast learner, but on early mornings I tend to double my productivity and learn much faster than usual, which I think is something I use to my advantage. There is something quite peaceful about the mornings that I really like.
