The GDP increased sharply up to 2.4% in 2010 leaving the negative values from the previous years with a 5.5% difference. Since then, the growth has stabilized in 2011 and 2012 with 1.0% and 2.2%, respectively.
In relation to the future, the World Bank predicts a steady rise of GDP from years 2014 to 2015. In year 2014, the GDP’s growth will be about 2.8% coming from a slight increase of 0.8% from 2013. Lastly, the GDP is coming to an all-time high of 3.0% in year 2015 over the eight-year period of forecast by the World Bank.
