overall, most of the tourists favored visiting Dublin initially, but the graph experienced a downward trend over the period while the number of people who visited Cardiff was initially less but the count almost tripled in 10 years.
The count of people who visited Dublin initially stood at almost 4 million in 2011 then started declining for the next two years and dropped to less than three million in 2013. The graph further decreased steadily by the end of the period except for a slight rise from 2015 to 2016.
on the other hand, less than two million people visited Cardiff in 2011 then gradually increased to more than two million in 2014 and remained constant for a year. The count declined to its initial count in 2018 and rose tremendously to almost 5 million.
