Overall, donations increased for most categories throughout the period examined, with the exception of the Environment and Education sectors, where contributions decreased and remained unchanged, respectively. Notably, Social Welfare consistently received the highest amount of donations, while Arts received the least.
Focusing on Social Welfare, this category received remarkable donations. Starting with a staggering 23,000 dollars in 2012, the amount donated to this sector declined significantly to about 18,000 in 2013 before recovering to nearly 25,000 in 2014. In contrast, donations to the environmental sector saw a downward trajectory, falling from 8,000 dollars in 2012 to exactly 5,000 in 2013, before ending the period at approximately 7,000.
