Dear Mrs Rachel,

I am writing this letter to inform you that, unfortunately, I will not be able to make the interview time scheduled for next week. Due to unexpected conditions, I have the most important consideration that cannot be rescheduled.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and I would like to request to change the interview date to a later time that is convenient for you. I am very interested in the opportunity to interview for the job title position and I hope we can find a new date that works for both of us.

Thank you for your understanding and I look forward to receiving back from you to reschedule the interview.
