2. Is it acceptable to talk on the phone in public?

Yes, from my perspective, why not? It’s really like nowadays phone is all in phone. You have all your life, your work, your study, your lessons. And if it’s like emergency call, you need to take it. If no matter you are in the public, home, that’s it, it’s acceptable.
