Well, one rule that really gets under my skin is the strict dress code in some workplaces and schools. To be honest, I find it quite unnecessary and outdated. For instance, many companies still require employees to wear formal attire every day, even when they are not meeting clients. In my opinion, this is quite rigid because comfort and productivity go hand in hand. What's more, in my schools, students are forced to wear uniforms that may not be comfortable, and this can even affect their confidence. From my perspective, people should have the freedom to dress comfortably as long as it looks decent and appropriate. If I had the chance, I would definitely advocate for a more flexible dress code, allowing people to wear smart casual outfits instead. After all, what really matters is one's work performance, not their clothing. At the end of the day, professionalism comes from attitude and skills, not just appearance.
