I’d like to talk about one time that I decided to compete in the most prestigious high school in my city. So because it had a very low acceptance rate, so I had to take this study process seriously. So the preparation for these competitions was quite instant and required a lot of dedication. I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it and sacrificed and I dedicated more effort into it. I even burned a midnight oil for months on end. All of my day I could say that was just all about study, even study bits, study at school, in extra classes or even self study at home. I had to immerse myself, I always had to immerse myself in textbooks, crammed and grabbed all of the knowledge of different subjects. I also got used to stimulant like coffee. And what with coffee and an extended period of studying late had adversely affected my well-being. There’s even one time appeared that my well-being was so poor that I always got no spleet or even sometimes I had to got IV treatment. At times I was overwhelmed with a workload, with the study that I had to start to learn. I was filled out too much to handle and I nearly gave up. However, I kept self-reminded. They promised the dream school like how it would be wonderful if I got into this prestigious high school. So it just filled my motivations and commitment again. So after finishing the test, I felt that I had done it quite well and I was proud of myself regardless of the result. So when I received the results, I was flap casted, seen not only did I got into a secure place in one place in this school, but also I got the salutatorian which was the biggest achievement of my life until now. So I felt that I feel genuinely thrilled.
