I don't agree with this. I think opinions can differ. If a friend gives you a suggestion on an important issue or opinion, whether it is opposite to yours, it doesn't mean that they are not your friend. Let's say when I was in college, one of my best friends fell in love with a guy who was not honest with her. She asked me about him, and I gave my honest opinion. I said he is not honest with you, and she understood my point. She was very happy.
