(8 8 7 8 =8)The bar chart illustrates the proportion of the population in the UK consuming the recommended daily amount of fruit and vegetables in three specific years: 2002, 2006 and 2010.

Overall, it is clear that women were the dominant sector over the period, whereas children saw the lowest percentage of consumption of the recommended fruit and vegetables. In contrast, men experienced an average percentage of consumption, ranking second over the period.

Looking first at the bar chart, starting from 2002, women were the primary component, accounting for a quarter(25%) of consumption, while children represented 11%. Moreover, in 2006, the percentage of children made up 16%, whereas women’s consumption grew significantly, representing 32%. However, by 2010, the percentage of women’s consumption went down slightly, from 32% to 27%, but it was also the dominant portion of the period.

In contrast, men registered an average percentage throughout the period, ranking second. In 2002, the share of men was 22%, but it was slightly lower than women’s consumption, comprising 22% and 25%, respectively. Eventually, it reached 24%, an increase of 2%, whereas the segment of children’s consumption fell by 14%, ranking the lowest.

The chart compares various power generation categories in a nation in 1985 and 2003.
Overall, oil remained the dominant source of energy production throughout the period. Meanwhile, the proportion of natural gas experienced the most significant increase, while the reverse was true for nuclear power. Notably, the share for hydrogen remained unchanged over the timeframe.
In 1985, 52% of energy was produced from oil, while the figure for nuclear power was 22%. In the following years, energy generated from oil and nuclear fell, with the former recording a considerable decrease to 39%, and the latter declining to 17% in 2003. Conversely, the proportion for natural gas increased dramatically from 13% in 1985 to 23% in 2003.
Turning to the remaining sources, coal, hydrogen, and other renewable sources, coal rose from 8% in 1985 to 13% in 2003, while the power from hydrogen remained unchanged at 4% in the given period. Additionally, other renewable sources stood at 1% in the initial year (1985), before rising to 4% in the last year.

The maps illustrate the changes in the layout of a public library over the past 20 years.

Overall, the library has changed significantly. The children’s area has been expanded, and it has become more modern, with several new facilities replacing older ones.

On the left-hand side of the library, the CDs, videos and computer games section was replaced by a children’s area, which has been expanded with fiction books, a storytelling area and two sets of sofas.

In addition, the adult fiction section was converted into a reference books section.

Moreover, the reading room, which contained newspapers and magazines, was transformed into a computer room.

On the right-hand side, the children’s books section was removed and replaced by a lecture room.

Furthermore, the adult non-fiction section was replaced by an adult fiction section, an information desk and self-service machines.

Meanwhile, the enquiry desk, which was used for ticket bookings and book returns, was transformed into a café.

Finally, the tables and chairs in the centre of the library were removed to create more open space, while the entrance remained unchanged.

    BAND 9 (8 9 9 9)
The provided tables illustrate the number of international pupils from three distinct nations studying in Canada and the United States in 2002 and 2003.
From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that students from other countries studying in Canada were considerably lower in number than those in America in both years. However, the percentage of change between 2002 and 2003 in Canada far exceeded the figure for the USA. In addition, all categories in Canada experienced upward trends, similar to those in the USA, except for the data on Indian students.
Regarding Canada, the number of overseas pupils from three countries was below 10,000 over the period. In particular, this figure from China was the highest in 2002 and 2003, at 5,400 and 7,850, respectively. That of the USA was recorded at 5,000 in 2002, being lower than the aforementioned category. In the following year, there was a slight increase of 450 in this section, but still ranked second. Although India saw a growth in its number, it still retained its lowest position, at 2,100 in 2002 and 2,835 in 2003. Due to the increases in three nations, the total also showed an upward trajectory, from 59,870 to 70,004. Additionally, the percentage of change in China (45%) and India (35%) was significantly higher than the US (9%). The figure for the total was 17%, lagging behind China and India.
Concerning the USA, international students born in three distinct nations had a considerable number in 2002 and 2003. The data for China witnessed a marginal rise from 110,000 to 116,600 throughout the timescale. A similar pattern could be observed in that of Canada, starting at 31,000, and then growing to 33,170 in the final year. Conversely, a modest decline was seen in the number of international students from India, which was from 200,000 to 182,000. However, this figure led the ranking over the period. Moreover, the proportion of change in China and Canada was all positive, indicating growth across these categories. Meanwhile, the data on India was negative, at -9%, because of its reduction. The figure for the total was markedly low, at 2% compared to the corresponding figure for Canada.

    BAND 8.5 (8 9 8 9)
The provided bar chart depicts how many girls attended at distinct levels of education per 100 boys compared to the target between 1990 and 1998.
From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the number of girls who enrolled in all levels of education in developed countries was slightly higher than that of developing countries in both years. The figures for all levels in both types of countries experienced upward trends over the timescale. In addition, most levels of education in the two types of nations did not meet the target throughout the period, except for the tertiary level in developed countries.
Concerning primary education, the number of female students in developing nations grew slightly from 83 to 87 in 1998, and a similar pattern could be seen in the data for developed nations, which started at 95 and increased by just 1 in the final year. Additionally, both years witnessed a significant rise in the figure for the secondary level in developing countries, increasing from 72 to 82. The number of girls enrolling in this level in the other nations also grew marginally by 1, starting from 98 and ending in 99. The significant distinction can be clearly seen in the number of female pupils attending tertiary education in both types of countries. While the data for developing nations merely ranged from 66 to 75 throughout the period, that of the other nations was dramatically higher, at 105 in 1990 and 112 in 1998.
Regarding the target, this line remained unchanged over the timescale, at 100. Only in 1990 and 1998 did the number of girls in developed countries participating in higher education in developed countries exceed the required target. However, the figures for the remaining levels fell just short of the target. Notably, three different levels of education in developing nations remained below the target during the period.

The maps illustrate an industrial estate and planned future development of the zone in the town of Norbiton.

Overall, it is clear that the town will experience modernization and urbanization over the period. The area will transition from factory-based to residential, characterized by the construction of apartments and roads.

Looking at the southern and eastern sections of the town, in the south, a new roundabout, which is smaller than the central one, will be constructed and between these roundabouts a new medical centre will be erected. At the same time, in the east, the factory which is located in the far part of the town will be demolished and converted into a school. Along this road, the factories will be replaced by housing, while on the other side of the road a new playground will be developed between two residential blocks.

Turning to the western and northern zones of the town, a new road and bridge will be erected to the north and a new large housing estate will be constructed on the other side of the river. Meanwhile, shops will be developed near the large roundabout, and beyond these shops, a new road and housing will be constructed.

The line graph illustrates the percentages of Australian exports to four countries from 1990 to 2012.

Overall, China was trending the most, whereas Japan started from the highest point but then dropped its production. In contrast, both India and the US fluctuated throughout the period.

Firstly, in 1990, China began with 3% marketing and gradually rose to 5% in 2000. In addition, it jumped to more than 10% in 2005, which continuously increased until 2010 to 25%, after which it slowly increased and stopped at 28% in 2012. However, Japan started from 26% in 1990, which steadily decreased until 18% and then remained constant and slightly dropped till 2012, to 16%.

On the other hand, the US had more than 10% of its exports in the beginning, which steadily decreased in 1995 to 8% and then suddenly went up in 2000 to 11%. Even from 2000 to 2010, its production fell sharply to 5%, then rose again to nearly 8%. On the other hand, India was nearly negligible at the start and remained stable from 1990 to 2000, then suddenly rose to 7% in 2010 and again fell to 5% in 2012
