Overall, the system consists of five main stages, beginning with the injection of cold water underground and ending with the generation of electricity. The process relies on heat from underground rocks to convert water into steam, which then powers a turbine connected to a generator.

The cycle starts with cold water being pumped down through an injection well to a depth of approximately 4.5 kilometres. Once underground, the water enters the geothermal zone, an area of hot rocks. As it passes through this region, the water is naturally heated before being pushed upward through a separate structure known as the production well.

After rising to the surface, the hot water is transported to a condenser, where it is converted into steam. This steam is directed into a turbine, causing it to rotate. The movement of the turbine then drives a generator, which produces electricity. Finally, the electricity is supplied to the grid through power lines.

The diagram illustrates the steps of electricity production involving geothermal energy.

It is clear that there are five steps in all to transform geothermal energy to electricity. In this process, water plays an essential role in generating heat which will be used to produce electricity.

Firstly, the cold water on the ground is pumped down to 4.5 km into the injection well. There is a geothermal zone where the pumped water can be heated by many hot rocks to a specific high temperature. Next, the heated water would be transferred to the production well, and then, the hot water is pumped up to a condenser on the ground.

In the condenser, the heated water becomes hot steam which can provide power to make a machine called turbine remain whirling. A generator is powered by this whirling turbine and produces the final product, the electricity. Finally, the electricity, which is generated by geothermal energy, would be used by local residents.

The diagram illustrates the process of electricity production with geothermal energy involved.

It is easy to notice that there are five steps to produce electricity. All the processes are conducted in a setting called ‘Geothermal power plant’.

Firstly, the cold water will be pumped down to 4.5 km underground, then the pumped down water will be collected in the injection well. There is a space called ‘Geothermal zone’ to heat the water with hot rocks. After the temperature of water reaches to a specific level, the hot water will go to the production well and then be pumped up to the condenser.

Above the ground, several machines are ready for processing following steps. The hot water in condenser will be transformed to steam, and another machine named ‘Turbine’ will be powered by steam. Similarly, once the turbine is getting whirling, then the generator will be powered by the whirling turbine and finally produce electricity for residents.

The information about how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity is depicted by the rendered diagram.

Overall, the process consists of several steps, starting with cold water and ending with the final production of generator. The data is presented in an image, illustrating different aspects of geothermal power plant.

First, cold water pumped down around 4,5 km. After extracting water, the next step is the injection well. The injection well go under geothermal zone (hot sticks). Additionally, the third step explain us the production well which means hot water pumped up to condenser.

Moving further, clearing water to condenser, then it goes through steam. After steam it becomes a generator. Supplying steam to generator. Powered by turbine and produces electricity.
