At first glance, it is clear that residents in all five cities, except Adelaide, preferred going to a café to drink coffee or tea rather than purchasing coffee.Notably, instant coffee accounted for the highest proportions, surpassing fresh coffee in all five cities.
Upon closer examination, going to a café represented the largest proportion in Melbourne and Hobart at about 64%, whereas Adelaide recorded only 40%.Regarding fresh coffee, Sydney and Melbourne showed similar proportions, both standing at 42%. Moreover, Brisbane and Adelaide had identical figures for fresh coffee consumption, each at around 35%.

Overall, the data from last four weeks shows that people went to cafés for coffee and tea accounted for a higher percentage as compared to those who bought instant coffee and fresh coffee in all cities of Australia except Adelaide and Brisban. However, instant coffee have highest percentage in Adelaide and was slightly above half in Brisbane. In constrast, the percentage of people buying fresh coffee remains below the half in all cities.
The data indicates that almost above 60% people who went to cafe in three different cities including Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart for coffee or tea, but this figure fell to just above 50% in Brisban and below 40% in Adelaide. The proportion of people who bought instant coffee varied among the cities, in brisban and hobart it remains above 50% and equal to it in adelaide, but remains below 50% in Sydney and Melbourne. Whilst, the proportion those purchasing fresh coffe remains below 50% across all five cities.
