Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Karu, and I am a regular customer of your train company. I am writing this letter regarding a problem I recently faced and to bring it to your attention for further corrective action.
I bought train tickets from your company for a round trip one week in advance. I had planned a short trip to attend my friend’s marriage function. I made all the travel arrangements and booked a room in the hotel.On the day of travel, I was not allowed to board the train, and your staff informed me that my ticket was not valid.
I was so upset with your staff because they did not make any alternative arrangements. They did not even explain the reason why the tickets were not valid. Even though I asked to refund the ticket, they simply refused.
I kindly request that you inquire about the matter and advise the staff to refund the ticket or to issue a new ticket. This will solve the problem, and you can make the customer happy.
