I'm going to talk about an addition to my country's legislation that I would like to see. I think it is crucial for my country to establish a new law supporting marriage equality in the LGBTQ plus community. Being a bisexual person myself, I have been treated differently in the past due to my sexual orientation. I would like to see my country, the government, take necessary actions towards protecting the equal rights of people in my community. I think it is only fair that people in my community also receive protection by the law in their marriage and can be with whoever they love and live a happy life. I think that is just basic human rights. It is important to show future generations that this is a loving and accepting country that values everybody for their differences and accepts everyone, as long as they are good citizens. I truly believe that establishing this law will make a change in the world and decrease the discrimination that people in the LGBTQ plus community face every day.
