Let me check you through a time when I happened to take an apartment and a plaza of a competition by sheer chance. It was about a year ago during a weekend, even organized at my university library. I hadn’t planned to join, but one of my friends encouraged me and I thought why not give it to try. At first I looked at it like a daunting task. The puzzle was massive with thousands of pieces. The final image was a beautiful, detailed city scale with buildings, trees and people, all full of interact details. I sat there slightly over the top, not knowing where to start. But soon I got into the spirit of it. I began organizing the ages and I focused on the border pieces to get into the flow. Gradually I started to fit pieces together and I found myself fully immersed in the challenge. It was not smooth sailing the whole way. Though there were a few new raking moments when nothing seemed to fit, at one point I encountered an annoying situation where pieces appeared to be missing. At the 42nd I panicked. The panicked and there was even a moment of sleep. I found it under the table. My heart was racing towards the end, especially as the others were close to finishing. But in the end I beat everyone to finish the line, which felt obviously amazing. I want a beautiful novel which added to my curated book collection. Honestly it felt like a dream come true. I walk it away with not only their prizes but only lots of pleasant memories that still longer even to this day.
