As I have just mentioned, nurses act as assistants to the doctors. The doctors will mainly be operating, performing complex medical procedures or surgeries. On the other hand, nurses are responsible for minor tasks, like taking blood or managing patient care. This is the function of a nurse. It is definitely impossible for a hospital to function well without nurses, as they are equally important. This is why I think it is crucial to have nurses in the hospital.
