I remember the moment when I had to give up being a pharmacist in a community pharmacy and take another pathway, which was becoming a teaching assistant at one of the popular universities. As I recall, I weighed my options and looked at the pros and cons of being a teaching assistant versus being a pharmacist in a community pharmacy. I really thought that being a teaching assistant was the right choice for me.
