I would like to talk about my experience working as an assistant lecturer at Parang State University. I started this role while I was pursuing my undergraduate degree, and it was a great opportunity to gain teaching and research experience. My primary responsibilities included assisting the lecturer in preparing course materials, grading assignments, and helping students understand difficult topics. I also had a chance to conduct research with my lecturer, which involved data collection, analysis, and writing academic papers. One of the most memorable experiences was when I had to explain complex engineering concepts to a group of students. At first, I was nervous, but I gained confidence. I realized that I enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge. This occupation taught me patience, effective communication, and improved my critical thinking skills, making me more passionate about education. That's why this experience was valuable for me; it not only strengthened my technical expertise but also prepared me for a future career as a full-time lecturer. It helped me realize that I want to continue my studies, especially studying abroad, and contribute to the education sector in Indonesia.
