In my opinion, the book that influenced me a lot is called The Bell Jar, written by Sylvia Plath. The book is about a young journalist, Esther, who won a scholarship in New York and was invited to spend time with a magazine. She took that opportunity, but then the routine and everything just eats at her inside. When she gets back home, she's trying to kill herself, and that's a significant event in her life. Honestly, I didn't try to kill myself, but it felt very close to that because I also experienced depression. I used to re-read it during my depressive episodes. I saw it on TikTok, and I liked it very much.
