To be honest, I am not a literary sort of person, and I do not possess a, uh, huge collection of books. But the book which I enjoyed the most is a, ah, book of poetry named Baneara. It was written by Alama Iqbal, who is our national poet. The main features of this book are that they are very different from the traditional poetry books. In traditional books, the poets mainly focus on romanticism and on, uh, and on natural things. But Alama Bal, in his book, has mainly focused on the, uh, on the flaws of the society and has given, uh, us ways to reform this soc. Basically, his poetry is about social reforms, and he is also known as a social reformer. And the main reason, uh, of alameic Bal for writing this book was to awaken the Muslims of the subcontinent from their deep sleep and, uh, rise the enthusiasm in them and give them a spirit to fight for their independence and, uh, to, uh, establish a separate state of Pakistan. So, uh, I enjoyed this book because it, uh, suits my soul. It, uh, uh, freshes my mind. And it also tells me about the flaws of the society. It also tell, uh, me about the expectations which our ancestors had with us and what we are doing. And I really feel sad that we are not following the path which our forefathers gave us. So, uh, I think that, uh, being a Pakistani, every Pakistani should read the poetry ofameic ball, uh, to be familiar with the expectations of our forefathers and to, uh, make our country a developed country, following by following the, uh, characteristics and rules which our forefathers gave us.
