The book I recently read is The Palace of Illusion. The Palace of Illusion is one of the historical books. It takes us back to a time where there is half history, half myth, and holy magic. The Palace of Illusion is narrated by the main character, Paanchali, the wife of the legendary Pandav's brother in the Mahabharata. I read this book about two months ago. One of my friends recommended it, and I also checked out the Instagram reviews and other website reviews about this book. It received a very nice 4.5-star review, and it was quite thought-provoking and very fictional. I decided to read this book because my favorite genres are fantasy, fiction, and historical dark academia. I like reading books that are filled with magic and fiction. It shows the spiritual balancing act of a woman, Paanchali, the wife of the Pandav's brother in the Mahabharata. It explores the intimate relationship with Lord Krishna and her fierce attraction towards a mysterious man who was her husband's greatest enemy, Karna.
