I would like to describe a challenge I faced when I was at my first year of university, especially during math exam. Mathematics had always been difficult for me but I underestimated the preparation the courses needed. I didn’t study as much as I should have. I thought that I could handle it without much revision. As the exam day came closer I realized the materials was easy that I thought. In the exam the questions were tough and I remember I felt completely overwhelmed. This made me doubt and caused a lot of stress. I remember I was staring at paper and unsure of where to start. Additionally, my anxiety made everything worse. It wasn’t just about answering the question. I was also scared of failing. And at that moment I realized the main problem was my lack of my preparation and I regretted not studying enough. Even though it was a tough experience, it taught me the importance of hardworking and preparation. Since then I have been serious about my studies and try to hardworking for my exams.
