I would like to talk about one of my closest friends, Dac, whom I met back in high school. We have been friends for quite a few years now and although he’s a bit busy these days, we still manage to keep in touch and meet up regularly. He’s more than just a friend. He’s my study pal. Someone I can always count on when it comes to academics and personal support. Most of the time we hang out at various cafes and study spots around the city looking for the best environments to focus on our work. And we usually meet at least twice to four times a week, depending on our schedules. These sessions aren’t just about hitting the books. They’re also about catching up, sharing ideas and even having a few laughs in between. Dac is an admirable person, especially when it comes to his scholastic achievement. He’s incredibly intelligent and hardworking, always setting heart on everything. Whenever I struggle with something, I know I can pick his brain. And he will explain things in a way that makes everything seem clearer. So is that he also calm and patient, which makes studying with him a lot more productive and less stressful. We seem to be on the same wavelength, so discussions with him are always engaging and insightful. What I truly appreciate the most about Dac is his easygoing nature. No matter how stressful things get, he always knows how to lighten the mood and keep things balanced. He’s the friend that is always there for you when you need him. That’s why I truly value our friendship.
