For a variety of reasons I chose this course among others like digital marketing and graphic design that my university offered. I think the main trigger for me was my enthusiasm even though I had this subject on my second year at the university I didn’t participate fully because of my house problems. Last year when I was a third year student I decided to take this course. I have wanted to entrepreneur since I was a kid so marketing is the most important part of business but why social media marketing? Yeah it’s true that other types of marketing are also essential such as digital marketing but I have knowledge about this subject so my choice was social media marketing. During the course I had gained significant knowledge about this subject. For example in modern life there is a huge competition in the business. Social media is crucial as almost everyone uses social media every day for their reasons like communication, watching videos and so on. Therefore to improve business it’s a perfect way to attract people. Additionally I learned how to create an image successfully on social media especially on Instagram making the brand more popular. My teacher also shared several tips and techniques that will be useful during my future business. So yeah the course was striking not only I learned the subject but also I made new friends which had shared interests.
