Last semester, I took a photography course at my university. The course was mainly about the basic skills of photography, like how to use different camera settings, the rules of composition, and how to adjust the lighting. During the course, we had both theoretical classes and practical sessions. In the theory classes, the teacher showed us a lot of amazing photos and explained the techniques behind them. Then, in the practical part, we went outside to take pictures on campus. We were asked to practice different shooting methods and submit our work for feedback. This course impressed me a lot because it opened a new world for me. Before taking this course, I just took pictures casually and didn't know how to take beautiful pictures. But now, I can use the skills I learned to capture beautiful moments more effectively. It made me realize that photography is not just pressing the shutter but an art form.
