And that’s why I went straight to the appliance center and applied for the, uh, competition. And that was really a tall order because I didn’t consider myself as someone who, um, is very, um, skilled at oral translation. So, uh, that was the part I was most afraid of. I also have kind of a social anxiety. So I thought I would just be so embarrassed at the competition. And that’s why I, um, had to work really hard. I, um, studied for hours and hours, and, uh, at the computation day, I managed to pass the first stage. But that was really not the requirement of the teacher. She only said that we have to participate. But I actually passed the first stage, and I. She was so proud. She, uh, gave me some really high marks, which helped me to increase, um, my overall GPA.
