During my sophomore year at university, I had a teacher who was really tough and not an easygo person. She, uh, told the group that if we didn’t apply for an oral translation, uh, computation, she would make us fail in the exam. And she would, um, never mark as something high. Uh, and my grades were so important to me as I want to continue my studies in abroad. So so I was really concerned about that. And that’s why I went straight to the appliance center and applied for the, uh, competition. And that was really a tall order because I didn’t consider myself as someone who, um, is very, um, skilled at oral translation. So, uh, that was the part I was most afraid of. I also have kind of a social anxiety. So I thought I would just be so embarrassed at the competition. And that’s why I, um, had to work really hard. I, um, studied for hours and hours, and, uh, at the computation day, I managed to pass the first stage. But that was really not the requirement of the teacher. She only said that we have to participate. But I actually passed the first stage, and I. She was so proud. She, uh, gave me some really high marks, which helped me to increase, um, my overall GPA. So that was one task that I completed, and I really felt proud about it because I proved myself as, ah, a good translator. Candidy in the date.
