Kyoto, being one of the biggest historical epicenter, would offer me a wide range of experiences. Well, honestly, I have never paid this city a visit before, but I know it quite well because my specialization is Japan. That’s why I have been exposed to Japanese cultures for a long time. Given an opportunity to visit Kyoto, I would visit many iconic landmarks such as Kinkakuji, also known as Golden Pavilion, because this temple is really renowned for its cobbled with golden leaf. This temple is surrounded by a pond which reflects the golden color of the temple, creating such a serene and picturesque view. I would also really like to immerse myself in the local cuisine too, such as the kaisiki, which is a multi-cost meal, exemplifying seasonal ingredients and meticulous preparation. I think that if I try to get this out, I would know more about Japanese society. That’s what I always want to interact with the local people.
