This festival takes place right after Ramadan ends based on Islamic lunar calendar which is the first of Shawwal. On the morning of 8 people usually wake up early where new or their best clothes and go to Moscow or an open field to perform special prayer called a prayer. After the prayer, people greet each other by saying a Mubarak and ask for forgiveness. One of the most meaningful tradition is visiting family members, especially parents and elders, show respect and build up a relationship. Many families also prepare special decisions such as traditional sweets and festive meals and share them with the guests they’re coming to their home. 8.
