So I've heard of a popular festival from Indonesia called Lompat Batu. It is from Nias in North Sumatra. Lompat Batu is actually a tradition that was done to measure male teenagers' courage and physique a long time ago in their village. The participants were the villagers and, of course, the male teenagers who were chosen. I think this celebration is important in my country, or in Indonesia, because this festival is quite popular among Indonesian people, and we should not forget this tradition or any other traditions from many islands in Indonesia.
