So we decided to go to Cox’s Badger, which is the longest sea beach in the world. When we arrived at Cox’s Badger, I first saw Anne Foraner out of my curiosity. I went in front of him and asked, what is your name and where are you from? Separately he answered me in Bengali that his name is Andismit and he is from Denmark. Then I asked how does he speak Bengali so well? Then he told me his aunt has been living there for 35 years and for this reason he frequently visits our country. Not just that, he took lessons from an institution called Hat Star where Bengali was taught by professional teachers. And that is the reason he speaks Bengali so fluently. There could be a myriad of reasons why I think he can speak Bengali smoothly. First and foremost important, he knows our history very well. In fact he knows how our marathas give their lives for our mother tongue. And for that reason he respected our language and loved to speak our language. And I think that is the big reason that he can speak Bengali so well. Eventually I would like to recapitulate that it is always good feeling when you saw Foraner speak your native language.
