I’m going to describe a very important gift that I received about a decade ago. It was a pink colored portable phone that my husband gave me because we met on December 30th. The gift, we got engaged after five months. He gave me the gift so that I have the means to communicate to me since we are not living in the same state. Because we are the distances about seven hours getting to where he’s staying. Most often we use the phone to communicate especially that period that we are planning for our wedding. There’s no how we have done it without a phone. And to credit all, it was the first time that JSM was introduced to my country. So it’s few people that really had the advantage of handling their phones. So I was opportune to be one of them. So it’s a sort of, you know, raising status which I really was happy about. And some of my mates, I know we are envious of me and we are jealous that I have a phone and they don’t. So I enjoy that phone because I was able to even communicate also with my relations, not only with my husband. And it has me in a long way in knowing the etiquette of making call. How I can communicate with people and speak for some time without really having a hesitation of making a mistake. Like I would say that the phone helped me in socializing with other people. And apart from that, also I was able to enjoy some of the, enjoy some social, you know, I was able to interact on the internet. And it helped me in my social life and also in reading, because I was able to access.
